The KRD (Kereta Rel Disel), Bandung's commuter trains, is a lively place. It's virtually a market where everything from snacks and beverages to stationery and toiletries are sold. It even has musicians to entertain you - for a small tip - in your otherwise crowded and unpleasant trips.
I remember the time( before the war) that goats and chicken were taken on a journey by their owners. They travelled third class. As a child I loved travelling by train.
